The Role:
Due to continued expansion and growth, we currently have a vacancy for a Commercial Grant Applications Manager to join our team. This role reports directly to the commercial director. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join us on our mission to drive higher standards of energy efficiency across Ireland both in the domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities
· Lead and maintain accountability for the performance of Communities Energy Grant Scheme Applications.
· Add value to our growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities and assist with marketing efforts.
· Evaluate and manage key client relationships and strategic partnerships.
· Overall responsibility for commercial grant application success & quality.
· Providing full administration, technical support and strategic development to all commercial clients and their grant applications.
· Communication and training on any updates made to schemes.
· Fully responsible for the preparation and timely submission of applications for the SEAI Better Energy Communities Scheme.
· Evaluate existing partnerships and business efforts with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn’t.
- Prepare and issue weekly, monthly reports that contribute to decision making.
· Tracking all proposed application projects and application submissions to ensure internal deadlines and SEAI deadlines are met.
· Responsible for updating any relevant grant funding documentation for commercial grant projects.
· Preparing internal project schedules and reports for review.
· Supporting sub-contractors and stakeholders to meet tight application deadlines, ensuring that all documentation is completed on time and to a high standard.
· Assisting with data input and reviewing project applications to ensure all the correct documents are on file.
· Review of Targets and Milestones with the Commercial Director
· Providing administration support and progress reports to the SEAI Communities Energy Team.
· Communicating with clients on the progress of their grant applications.
· Research of new grant aid schemes to assist commercial clients
· Regular reporting to directors on team productivity and KPI results
Requirements
· Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction/energy industry and minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior management position within the same sectors.
· Third level qualification, preferably in Engineering, or any other relevant area.
· Have an entrepreneurial and goal orientated mindset and great leadership skills.
· The ideal candidate will be a creative strategist with excellent organizational abilities.
· An ability to consistently meet multiple and often parallel deadlines as well as demonstrate initiative.
· Persistence and determination – have the ability to demonstrate resilience in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
· Results-driven with proven ability to build strong client relationships and strategic partnerships.
· Strong communication, persuasion, and presentation skills.
· Ability to be flexible.
· Strong commercial awareness.
· Meticulous attention to detail.
